God declares Himself as the one who will guide us through life.
God informs us that He will instruct us through His Word, He will teach us the way we should go, He will show us what to do. We will have light to our path, God giving counsel with His eye upon our situation. He would give wisdom in the way we should go, in navigating life, and in any circumstance, in trouble, He would be our instructor.
If we turn away from God’s guidance to anything less than He offers by prayer, His Word and His Spirit, we are leaving the One who is omniscient and who calls Himself our instructor and declares He will guide us.
In the Christian life, God will guide us by God’s Word, His counsel, through this life and afterward take us to heaven. God’s people have access to all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, in a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Where else would we go when He has the words of eternal life. John 6:66-68
These verses in Psalm 19 are some of the most powerful in describing the power and sufficiency in the Word of God. His Words are true and righteous, and more to be desired than gold. A person is made complete in Christ- lacking nothing.
In the knowledge of Him, revealed and contained in His Word, God has by His power, given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness.
