Celebrate Jesus’ resurrection and open your Bibles to MARK 16!
This message is for everyone. No matter what their state in life may be. Easter is for the person who has been devastated by death. Easter is for people who have failed spiritually. Easter is for people who have failed spiritually. Easter is for the person who feels as though God has let them down.
Are you mourning the loss of a loved one? Maybe you are in bad shape spiritually right now. Then again, you might be downhearted and discouraged. And finally you might be here today as a guest and you are filled with skepticism and you have a lot of questions.
Jesus reminds us that He is the resurrection and the life. If you are backslidden or have somehow failed the Lord, the Lord would say to you today, “I am giving you another chance.” If you have walked away from the cross it is time to come back to it. If you are unsure and full of questions, Jesus is here with answers.
This is an opportunity to make a commitment to follow Jesus.
Pray this prayer with me right now:
Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner.
But, I believe that You died on the cross for me and rose again from the dead for me.
I turn now from that sin and receive You as my savior and my Lord and my God.
And I choose to follow You from this moment forward.
Thank You for calling me and accepting me and forgiving me.
In Jesus’ name I pray AMEN.
